Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

We collect information about how you use BeeDazl:

• • Crash reports and error logs

Third-Party Authentication

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information (name, email) as permitted by those services and your privacy settings.

Guest Scan Tracking

If you try a scan without creating an account, we do not collect your raw IP address. Instead, our server computes a one-way salted hash of your IP address (a scrambled value that cannot be reversed back into your IP) and uses it only to enforce the one free guest scan per visitor and to apply basic rate limiting against automated abuse. This hashed record is marked for deletion approximately 90 days after your visit; automatic deletion is being rolled out and is not yet active for all records, so in the interim it may be retained longer than 90 days. We do not store your browser's full user-agent string or your scan results against this record.

⚠ These rights are described at a general level. Whether specific regional rights (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) formally apply to you, and the exact process for exercising them, has not been reviewed by legal counsel — contact us and we'll do our best to help regardless of jurisdiction.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information, scan history, and uploaded photos for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (from your profile page, or by contacting us), we delete your personal information — including photos stored in Firebase Storage — within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal purposes.

Guest scan tracking (the hashed IP record described above) is marked for deletion approximately 90 days after your visit, independent of any account action; see the Guest Scan Tracking section above regarding the current rollout status of automatic deletion.

8. Children's Privacy

BeeDazl is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.

9. International Users

BeeDazl LLC is legally based in Wyoming, United States, but our infrastructure providers (Firebase/Google Cloud, Vercel, and OpenAI) operate data centers across the United States and, in some cases, other countries. If you access BeeDazl from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and possibly other countries where these providers operate.

10. Third-Party Services

BeeDazl uses the following third-party services:

• • Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, and file storage (Google Privacy Policy applies)
• • OpenAI: Processes your submitted photos to generate skin analysis (OpenAI Privacy Policy applies)
• • Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights: Aggregate, privacy-focused traffic and performance metrics for our website
• • Google Ads: Conversion tracking for our advertising campaigns. This uses cookies/identifiers set by Google and is not anonymous in the way our own guest-scan tracking is — see Google's Privacy Policy for how they handle this data

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email. Your continued use of BeeDazl after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
